The German International College offers you first-class preparation for studying in Germany. You decide whether you want to focus on Engineering or Economics and we will teach you all the important Mathematics, Physics and Economics basics – to broaden your understanding. Additionally, our intensive courses will get your German or English up to speed. To qualify for entry to our programme, you must pass an exam that you can take in your home country.
If you decide to study at the German International College to prepare yourself for studying in Germany, you will stay at one of our student hostels in Bedburg-Hau. Our classroom buildings are right next door and easily accessible.
Our attractive accommodation package is rounded off by the extensive support we offer all our participants. Experienced social workers are there to support you in almost all areas of life – 24 hours a day. We will help you get settled in your new home and will create an atmosphere which is perfect for preparing to study in Germany – assisted by our programme tutors, who not only live in the same hostel, but are always happy to share valuable experience with you on living abroad.
Depending on which hostel you stay in, you will live in a furnished single or double room equipped with an internet connection. Shared bathroom facilities are located just outside in the corridor. Each floor has you a kitchen in which you can prepare your meals and an adjoined dining room. The maximum number of people who share a kitchen and bathroom facilities at our hostels in Bedburg-Hau is eight. You will have a washing machine and a dryer at your disposal and can also use the common room which is equipped with a TV.
Our hostels in Bedburg-Hau are located in a large park which has lots of old trees and green areas. Bedburg-Hau is a small community located in the Lower Rhine region which is one of the most popular tourist areas in Germany – offering plenty of really beautiful, natural scenery. It is only about 800 metres to the town centre – just a short distance to walk or cycle – or a quick bus ride. The station is located nearby and from here you can travel to Kleve town centre, which is the local district town – in just a matter of minutes.
The town is also an ideal place for embarking upon common leisure activities. If you like going on trips, such as visiting the Christmas market in Münster or taking a city break in Düsseldorf, Cologne or Aachen, Bedburg-Hau is a great place to be, as these are all just a short train ride away.
